A word from Deanna:

“My husband and I were born and raised in Western Kansas and we wanted to raise our family in a smaller community. I have always enjoyed the diversity of patients that are in this area and feel I have a good rapport with all of my patients. I like to get to know each and every one of my patients personally and professionally.”


Deanna was raised on a farm near Menlo, KS. She is married to Wayne Sulzman and they have three grown children and seven grandchildren. Her family are members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Deanna belongs to church organizations where she volunteers in the community and helps with functions for the congregation. Deanna enjoys attending her grandchildren’s activities, counted cross stitch, walking & spending time with her family and friends.


Graduated with a 3 year diploma in nursing from St. Francis School of Nursing in Wichita, KS. Received her BSN from Fort Hays State University and her Masters Degree in Nursing from West Texas A&M University. She is a member of the American Nurses Association & Kansas Nursing Association. She is also Nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner
